Unsung Hero Award
Roxy Chuchna – owner of Roxys Foods & Crafts – in recognition of her extraordinary dedication to family child care providers, received the Unsung Hero award from Women Venture’s of Minnesota.
Roxy is a former child care provider who saw a need to help providers like herself with food that would help children develop healthy eating habits and meet the child care food program, delivered right to their door. She has added craft supplies, color packets, themes, creative craft packages and preschool curriculum. All custom designed for child care providers.
She has been in business 14 years and has over 4,000 providers using her services. In an effort to do everything she can to help providers succeed, Roxy offers conferences, workshops, business tip sheets and forms and will subsidize providers who get ill and can’t work.
