ROXYS WRAP IDEAS

 

Children love wraps and they can be done as a cooking activity by letting them choice what they want in their wrap.

 

Different ingredients to put in your wraps.

Chicken Fazaita Strips and Shredding cheese with French dressing.

Beef crumbles & shredded cheese with sour cream.

Turkey sliced and string cheese with ranch dressing.

Peanut butter, raisins and banana slices.

Apple slices & peanut butter and Carmel (cold or lot).

Diced ham and shredded cheese.

 

Take frozen vegetables and cook them with the chicken strips, beef crumbles or diced ham and roll them in wraps with melted cheese.

 

Add shredded lettuce & carrots, chopped cucumbers and tomatoes to any of the above wrap ideas.

 

Shredded zucchini is a great substitute for lettuce and very nutritional.

Diced  yellow, green or red peppers will ad substantial nutrition to the wrap.  How about chicken salad & tuna salad?

 

Sometimes make it a southwestern veggie wrap by just adding corn and salsa.

 

If you have children that enjoy fried beans.  Just drain a can of black beans and smash them up and put in wrap.

 

You can turn a soft wrap into a hard shell by baking it in the oven.  Now it becomes a flat tostada.

 

Cooking activity by letting the children choose their spread; mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, cream cheese and then bowls out of different fillings and let them wrap and turn up the bottom and have fun eating. Let them add some of their favorites – pickles and olives.

What about a morning wrap with jam and peanut butter?

Have fun with the children eating very nutritional products.
